At Frank Salt Real Estate the environment is integral to our operations. Over the past years we have been organising various activities and initiatives that make us more aware of our environment, also awarding staff for their participation in safeguarding the environment and other social or charity work.
As the Frank Salt group grows in size and stature within the Maltese economy, the need was felt to articulate and create a more formal identity for our numerous initiatives with regards to the environment. This led to the formation of our ‘Let’s Go Environmental’ initiative, with its very own environment policy.
We are a serious organisation that prides itself on its strong reputation for ethics and integrity. We understand that we need to take more responsibility towards raising awareness on environmental issues. As part of our corporate social responsibilities, we are working with different voluntary and government entities to lessen their operating burden while mitigating our carbon footprint.
We are actively involved in the sponsorship of various environmental projects which includes, inter alia, tree planting, sponsoring irrigation, and maintenance of green areas.
Each office will be supplied with bins and bin liners for waste separation (including disposal containers for batteries). Additionally, each office makes use only of paper cups instead of plastic.
We are actively helping local councils nurturing public gardens build the brand and we are also taking the opportunity to promote our CSR commitment through attractive signage.
We donated more than €120,000 towards the installation of a new Solar PV Panel system on the roof of Inspire Malta‘s Marsascala premises.
This is the roof area which we will be covering. Each year these panels are estimated to generate over 253,000 units of power, with annual savings for Inspire of over €43,000K for at least the next 20 years.
The Inspire Foundation works with children and adults with disabilities providing programs and services to help them reach their full potential.
