Located to the north of the island, just a 2-minute drive from Malta’s largest sandy beach at Mellieha Bay is the Tas-Sellum Residence, a sister project to the famous and award-winning Portomaso Complex in St Julian’s.
This architectural masterpiece consists of groups of high-end apartments constructed on a steep hillside that gently slopes towards the coastline. Taking advantage of the gradient and commanding site, the apartments enjoy stunning open sea and country views, the surrounding valleys and cliffs. The apartments are spacious with large terraces and verandas and all are sold finished to very high standards.
The Tas-Sellum project is structured in three phases, comprising a total of 150 villa apartments arranged in 13 clusters within approximately 17,000 square meters of landscaped grounds and gardens. The serene and elevated location is enhanced by remarkable features, including stunning vistas of Mellieha Bay. This is a low-density development with thoughtfully designed landscaped grounds and it is a completely car-free zone (all vehicular circulation takes place underground and out of sight). There are also individual secure lock-up garages, three fantastic communal swimming pools and convenient access to the foreshore. The Tas-Sellum Residence complex is in close proximity to gorgeous sandy beaches at Mellieha such as Malta’s largest sandy beach, Ghadira Bay.
Special Designated Area Status
Tas-Sellum Residences enjoy Special Designated Area status, meaning that foreign investors, whether they are EU or Non-EU, can purchase as many units as they want without the need for an AIP (Acquisition of Immovable Property) permit. Due to this special status, the units can also be rented out immediately without any restrictions.
Original construction commenced in 2005 and the first apartments were completed in 2007.
