The Homes of Quality Golf Tournament is back!

The eighth edition of the Homes of Quality Golf Tournament organised in collaboration with the Royal Malta Golf Club, was held the past week from 4-7 May 2023. The tournament included both the ladies’ and men’s categories and the much-coveted overall winner placing went to Leslie White who scored 77 points.

The tournament included a men’s stableford competition and a separate ladies’ stableford competition. The top scores from both competitions then qualified for the final round that took place on Sunday 7 May. All competitors vied for the grand prize consisting of a golf weekend break for two to Tuscany, including a one-day pass to one of the region’s top golf courses. The tournament and prizes were all sponsored by Homes of Quality, a member of the Frank Salt Real Estate Group. The award presentation and lunch was held at the Putters Inn on Sunday, 7 May 2023.

The Best Man competition was won by Kevin Donovan with 77 points, whilst the Best Lady honours were taken by Stephanie Sciberras with 77 points.

The prize was presented during the lunch get- together, also sponsored by Homes of Quality. Lady Captain Eileen Borg and Frank Salt Real Estate Director Grahame Salt presented the trophies to the winners.

Grahame Salt, Director of Frank Salt Real Estate stated that the Group was delighted to have once again sponsored the 2023 Homes of Quality Golf Tournament. “The turnout was excellent and it is always fun to support such competitions. We try our best to support the local sporting community, as we feel it is an integral part of everyday life and we know how much support local sports clubs require to survive”. “We have now been organising this tournament for 16 years and our prize is one of the most prestigious prizes offered throughout the year with a trip to Tuscany and green fees paid for a golf course called Terme di Saturnia”, concluded Grahame.

Since its emergence as a major sport in the 1920’s, golf has provided lifelong recreational opportunities and enjoyment for thousands of people in Malta. This is the reason why Homes of Quality supports not only the local golfing community, but many other corporate and social responsibility initiatives throughout the year.
