Get to know Christine!

Christine is a fun-loving, bubbly and highly respected, popular property sales consultant at our Ibrag branch. Drawing on her past experience of having worked in various sectors of the hospitality industry, Christine’s excellent communication skills and service delivery are honed to a fine art, as all her testimonials on our website attest. She truly loves interacting with people from all walks of life and many may not be aware that she also has a will of iron: she never takes no for an answer and her sheer determination will see her finding solutions to any obstacles she may encounter. Her after sales service is the stuff of legends, as our readers will see below. As someone with a zest for life and a sense of adventure, she has been known to dance barefoot in the desert under the stars! Christine loves working at Frank Salt Real Estate as it allows her to merge the knowledge she has gained in the hospitality industry with selling property: perfectly matching properties with happy buyers across the island.

During her free time, Christine enjoys cooking, travelling, watching football and entertaining her family and friends. Besides being an agent, she is married and has two sons. We tracked down the ball of energy called Christine between appointments and asked her about her interesting life, likes and dislikes and this is what she shared with us:

Christine, what can you share with us about yourself in roughly 100 words?

I am a highly motivated individual that thrives on progress and achievements. Nothing is more satisfying than reaching personal goals, both in my professional and private life.

Tell us about your family and your early years growing up.

I am one of 5 sisters, thus the sense of competition has been there from day one. We are a closely knit family and have remained close despite going our separate ways. My parents have both passed away, but us sisters meet regularly as it was traditional to do so when my parents were around.

Share with us some info about your past work experience.

I worked in sales all my life, predominantly in the hospitality industry, undertaking roles in various sectors of this particular industry. I’ve worked in for instance in hotels, ground arrangements, events organization, cruise liners, car hire etc.

What made you decide to join the Frank Salt Team?

Hand on heart: COVID put me in a terrible situation as there was a complete shut down on the hospitality industry and I was unable to work. Frank Salt is the one agency I prioritized when I decided to give selling real estate a go.

What is the most important thing you have learnt from past experience that you have brought to Frank Salt Real Estate?

The key to success in any sales role is to serve the customer, go the extra mile and show interest in and cordiality to all your clients.

Can you share anything extraordinary that you have done for a client?

I don’t like taking ‘NO’ for an answer so when a departing guest reported she had lost her watch (which she was certain she left on the pool deck that afternoon), I contacted housekeeping to locate the missing item. I was told that unfortunately the item had not been found in the location where she claimed to have left it. That was not going to wash with me! I called security together and was advised to look in the garbage skips that had just been emptied that afternoon. Lo and behold, by using a long stick to search the (very smelly) skips, the watch was found and handed back to the guest.

What’s on your mind when you wake up in the morning?

My challenges before leaving the house and my challenges once I get to work.
