We spoke to Alexia Sciberras of Frank Salt Real Estate, St. Paul’s Bay to hear about her legendary love for property.
We spoke to this lively, bubbly PA to the manager of Frank Salt Real Estate, St. Paul’s Bay on a cold wintery morning. It was early, but she was already fired up for the day to talk shop and about her life-long passion for anything real estate.
Alexia has been with FSRE since 2014 and loves (and we mean really, really loves) the property industry and all its processes. She bought her first property when she was only 17! This is someone to keep an eye on as we expect great things from her! Since then she has bought and sold residential properties a couple of times, so much so that the sales bug has bitten her. She is currently in the process of getting her accreditation towards her license to practice as a real estate agent, something she has always wanted to do. Q: Can you describe to us who you are in 100 words?
“I am a mother of 2 adorable kids. I am a very positive person and always ready to help others. Property has always been close to my heart. When I joined Frank Salt Real Estate I immediately felt immensely honoured to be part of such a great team. I knew that it was a great opportunity to learn and grow both personally and professionally. I have been working as a manager’s assistant and I am currently doing my real estate agent’s course to become a qualified and licensed property sales consultant. I want to help and assist all our clients to find their dream house or property, ideally as an investment opportunity. ”
We have no doubt that this is a star agent in the making!

Q: Tell us some cool facts about any hobbies or other stuff you enjoy doing in your free time?
“There’s nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away.” – Sarah Kay
“I love to swim and kayak. The different experiences out there at sea are all amazing. You get calm days where you enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful scenery and then you get days when the wind all of a sudden picks up and you find yourself paddling against the wind and current. Moments like this can be very challenging but also very rewarding! Life is very similar to this scenario where we encounter all kinds of waves or situations, but the important thing is to stay focused and reach your destination or goal. Kayaking is also a very good form of exercise and I can recommend it to anyone! ”

Q: What did you find to be the best and worst of the lockdown?
“The world has slowed down but this has also helped us to realise how much we should appreciate life more. The worst part of it of course is that people are suffering around the world.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Q: And now fill us in on some details of your academic achievements and work experience!
“ With my background in Human Resources and Administration, I strongly believe in teamwork at a workplace. I have achieved a good level of communication skills, good workflow and with positive interactions with my colleagues, I strive to obtain the optimum environment for my team. I have learned from different projects/work processes and always work hard to meet the stipulated deadlines. I held different roles with different companies/organisations; such as an agency within the Government of Malta, an IT Company, a manufacturing company, and currently a real estate agency; I look forward to always learn from every experience. On a personal note, working in Real Estate has taught me that investing in property in Malta has always yielded a good financial return.
On a personal level, my wish is to be able to speak at least 5 different languages fluently.
Q: What attracted you to join the Frank Salt Team?
“Property has always been close to my heart. It was always my dream to eventually be the one to make someone else’s dreams come true such as finding a property for clients to reside or invest in. As Frank Salt, in my opinion, has always been the best property agency in Malta, I could only see myself working for them!”

Q: What do you enjoy most so far about your job?
“I honestly don’t feel or see it as work! I really enjoy working for the Group and every time we list a new property for sale or for rent and especially when we sell or rent the property, I feel that achievement in itself is the reward to each and every one of us. I love seeing the happy faces of all our clients.”
As they say: “Find what you love doing and you will never work a day in your life again!”

Q: What do you aim to achieve as a real estate agent and what are your goals or objectives?

Q: Tell us what you think of FSRE and the team you work with!
“We have a very good team at the St Paul’s Bay Branch. Everyone is very young at heart, energetic, and positive. I always feel part of the team and that my supportive role helps in achieving very positive results. Q: What advice will you give to someone who wants to enter into the real estate world?
“Consistency, perseverance, attention to detail, and loyalty to customers both internal and external are all very important.
