In its constant endeavors to support local sports associations, Frank Salt Real Estate have confirmed their sponsorship of the Phoenix Basketball Club for the upcoming season 2014/15. Phoenix Basketball is part of Phoenix Sports Club, one of the largest sports entities in Malta with sports ranging from Basketball to Handball, Volleyball and newly introduced Table Tennis. Frank Salt Real Estate will be supporting Phoenix’s senior men team who will be competing officially in local Basketball leagues as Phoenix Frank Salt Real Estate.
The collaboration between Frank Salt and Phoenix Basketball will also be extended to the development of the club’s basketball nursery. Club President, Mr. Orlando Bonnici, thanked Frank Salt Real Estate for their support, as without the investment from such an organisation, sports would have a bleak future in Malta.
Frank Salt’s sponsorship with Phoenix Basketball Club reflects the Company’s commitment to play a greater role in Malta’s sports arena and follows, its sponsorship of the Sliema ASC Waterpolo Club for the second consecutive year. In July, the company also supported a Kayaking Marathon which saw two dedicated kayakers paddle their way to Sicily and back, in aid of charity.
