As part of its ongoing recruitment drive and promotion of its professional work ethics in the local real estate industry, Frank Salt Real Estate participated in the KSU Careers and Research Expo which was held between the 13th and 15th March at the University Campus.

The aim of this event was for the company to provide a good insight about exciting job prospects in real estate, particularly in sales or letting, with Frank Salt Real Estate. The stand was buzzing with activity as youngsters were curious to find out more about this rewarding career. They were able to play an interactive game related to property, on a number of electronic devices. “We wanted to make sure that students engage themselves when visiting our stand so we included an element of fun” said HR manager Mr Robert Delia, who was referring to the game, whereby one had to guess the value of the property, its location and how much commission one would earn if the property was sold or rented.

Present on the stand were the Human Resources team as well as a number of seasoned property consultants who shared their personal success stories whilst working with Frank Salt Real Estate.

“The desire to control my own professional career led me to go for a career in real estate. By engaging in proactive work ethic, I strongly believe that through persistence and perseverance, I am able to achieve my targets and goals” explained Edward Micallef, sales consultant at St Paul’s Bay branch.

“The first two months of training that is offered by the company is absolutely amazing, and most importantly, constant support is given” said Domenique Muscat, sales consultant at St Julian’s branch.

“I believe that joining Frank Salt Real Estate was one of the best decisions I have ever made”, stated Nick Portelli sales consultant at Spinola Branch. “Earnings are not fixed and can increase considerably when you put in the right amount of effort and dedication. Another attraction is that there is an element of flexibility in the working hours” Edward continued.

Finally Katya Scicluna letting consultant at Gozo branch explained “finding a home is the greatest dream that many people cherish, and our brilliant team plays a huge part in making that dream come true”.

Mr Ray Young, manager at Mosta branch, also visited the Frank Salt stand to talk about his experiences to all those who were interested to learn more and explained the benefits of taking up a job in real estate; the excitement one would feel when closing a deal; the financial rewards; the buzz of meeting new people, managing one’s own time, as well as the qualities of belonging to the Frank Salt family.

The Frank Salt Real Estate HR team was also present at the Careers Day, which was held at the Junior College in Msida on Saturday. “We registered a keen interest by younger students at this event, especially by those who were not particularly keen to pursue a tertiary education” said Mr Delia. “The idea of solid training and a good income were qualities which attracted them” he added.

Mr Delia went on to explain the numerous advantages in forming part of Frank Salt Real Estate, as opposed to other operators in the market.

“Working in property provides an excellent opportunity to make good money, whilst meeting new people and allowing constant personal development. Frank Salt Real Estate offers a secure and professional working environment, backed by nearly 50 years of experience and thanks to our reputation for professionalism and trust, combined with our hands-on sales approach; we guarantee a constant supply of clients as well as the largest inventory of properties to showcase. Candidates can benefit from attractive remuneration packages, including a fixed allowance and excellent commissions! Full in-house training will also be provided”. Mr Delia stressed the fact that the company’s recruitment policy is more based on the quality of recruits rather than quantity. “We focus more on recruiting fewer consultants who we see have potential to be successful sales and letting consultants like the ones we presently have in our team.”
