A group of over 60 employees, consultants and family members of Frank Salt Real Estate recently took part in a number of unique outdoor sport and ad¬ven¬ture activities as part of the company’s ongoing team building programme.
The aim of the event was to engage the participants in team-building activities away from their offices and day-to-day roles, while encouraging them to get to know each other better, and try their worth at some unusual outdoor activities. The team was only given a rendezvous point at Marfa, little knowing that they would end up on the sister island, for a day of surprises and a combination of mental and physical exercises which saw them trying to start wild fires, devising portable water storage facilities, and the most difficult of all, building a boat to take the team off the island and back to Malta.
Survival was the chosen theme for this year’s annual company team building activity, organized in association with Outdoorliving Ltd, and by the looks of it all the participating employees got more than they had bargained for! Team building activities are no novelty to the company’s calendar of events.
‘Our team is composed of over 100 employees, all coming from different walks of life.’ says Joseph Lupi, Managing Director. ‘Yet together, we share a common vision, based on mutual values – serving our customer. It is this that makes our company tick, helping us grow into the solid and reputable company we are today”. “As individuals we all have our challenges,” adds Douglas Salt, Company Director, “but as a team, we overcome such situations and turn them into opportunities. We are a growing family business, and we want to make sure that our employees feel part of this family.”
