It was all sun and smiles at the Malta China Association Family Day organised recently by the association at Kennedy Grove to bring expat communities together and which saw the participation of over 50 families from the resident Chinese community.
The event was sponsored by Frank Salt Real Estate, as part of its drive to bring expat communities together and supporting fun family activities. The event went through the whole Sunday morning and afternoon with games organised for the young ones, and a selection of Chinese and local food served for the families to enjoy.
Frank Salt Real Estate is a firm believer in supporting and developing social and recreational events aimed at bringing expat communities together. “With the increase in foreign nationals residing in Malta, it is good for them to have occasions to meet up and get to know each other” stated Douglas Salt, who participated at the event together with his family. “These events provide a good opportunity for expats to make friends and network, whilst also experience the local hospitality. The company is in fact investing in organising its own series of social and cultural events to enrich their local experience. These people have chosen Malta amongst other countries to make it their new home. It is up to the local community, supported by the business community to deepen their relationship with the island”.
