The Company’s Letting Department has been established since 1969 and today enjoys an unparalleled reputation throughout Malta and Gozo with both landlords and tenants. The department boasts of one of the largest databases of Malta property for rent both for short let and long lets (over four to six months), which include apartments, maisonettes, houses of character, farmhouses and villas. The department prides itself in having an established database of corporate clients who make use of its services for their expatriate staff, which include Embassies, Banks, international companies, legal and accounting firms.
Letting Services are available from all branches, however, specialised letting divisions are established at the Head Office and at the St. Paul’s Bay, Mellieha, Sliema, Spinola, Marsascala and Gozo offices, the latter specialising in farmhouse holiday lettings.
Our letting consultants will be able to accompany prospective tenants to view a selection of Malta property for rent, which may be of interest to them. Tenants will be introduced to the landlord once a property has been identified and arrangements will be made to sign the lease agreement. Our staff will make every effort to ensure a trouble-free tenancy and assist tenant to settle in. We will show you properties you want to see and not properties that are of no interest, thus making your search for a property less stressful than ever.
In the case of a property rental, a full month’s rent (plus 18% VAT) would be applicable. Half a month’s rent is paid by the landlord, whilst the other half is paid by the tenant.
