Bugibba is part of the greater area of St. Paul’s Bay and is located on the northern part of Malta. Adjacent to Qawra, Bugibba is right in the centre of this tourist hot spot where you will find bars, clubs, restaurants, cafes, casinos and a vibrant night life.
For history buffs there are the remains of a megalithic temple complex around which a hotel was built. Many well-heeled Maltese have summer homes here and it is even home to a President Emeritus of Malta. An extremely popular promenade winds all the way from Salina to St. Paul’s Bay and is a favourite amongst joggers and those just out for a stroll.
Bugibba is an extremely popular holiday destination and a favourite amongst not only retired expats, but also many thousands of seasonal tourists from the UK. The Bugibba Water Park is abuzz during the hot summer months along with the National Aquarium of Malta. Diving, snorkelling, swimming and parasailing are hugely popular and many diving schools can be found here. Bugibba has an attractive main square where locals and tourists gather to have something to eat or drink and do some people watching all year.
