Spring is in the air and four public gardens in Swieqi are looking in top shape. This is also thanks to Frank Salt Real Estate’s latest Let’s Go Environmental initiative. As of 2019, the company is collaborating with the Swieqi Local Council to ensure that the gardens are well kept for the enjoyment of the Swieqi and Ibrag communities. Works include ongoing irrigation and general maintenance of these lovely gardens.

The sponsorship covers Ġnien Esprit Barthet, Ġnien Imħallef Caruana Curran, Ġnien F. X. Ebejer and the Swieqi Civic Centre, much needed open spaces in a densely populated area. Frank Salt Real Estate hopes that initiatives such as these will go a long way to embellish and improve the environment, making Swieqi a better place to live in.

The company acknowledges that as a successful member of the business community, it has responsibilities towards the environment and the upkeep of the Swieqi public gardens is not the only project that Frank Salt Real Estate has taken up as part of its Let’s Go Environmental drive. Recently they have also invested in the afforestation of the grounds surrounding Fort Madliena and are looking for similar areas around Malta and Gozo. It has also invested extensively to reduce its own carbon footprint, by reducing the quantity of paper used for office use, making use of recycled products where possible and by introducing the appropriate waste separation dispensers throughout its branches. It also plans to work with different voluntary and government entities to lessen their operating burden while mitigating our carbon footprint.
