In a few short weeks we will be celebrating the end of 2018 and the start to 2019. I look back on this year and marvel at how much was achieved by the company and its most valuable asset, its people. It demonstrates to us that the sound work ethic of our staff, together with the vision of our managers, has been instrumental for us to exceed all expectations for 2018.
It is hard to list all our initiatives and achievements, however we wish to name a few, and to thank all our members of staff as well as our clients for helping us achieve our goals. The past year has seen us participate in a multitude of events, both locally and overseas, in areas such as digital marketing and technology, careers, property fairs and seminars across the globe, and no less than three blockchain summits – a new field for us but one which we are very excited about. Our support for local talent was evident in the extensive coverage that was given to Emma Muscat during her very successful Amici participation, as well as several sponsorships that were offered to popular sports clubs and art festivals. Frank Salt Real Estate ‘Let’s Go Environmental’ was established in 2018 – this is, and will be, a solid platform which has already launched large scale projects dedicated to improving our environment, from afforestation projects, to the upkeep of local parks; We encourage you to stay tuned in order to follow the great things we have in store for 2019.
The last twelve months saw Frank Salt Real Estate launch its unparalleled Premium and Premium Plus sole agency packages which have proven to be very popular with sellers looking for an enhanced Frank Salt Real Estate experience designed to fast track the sale of properties. Another successful product we launched was the First Time Buyers’ scheme which was very well received by both the general public and our partners who have offered very attractive packages for home loans, insurance, and furnishings.
When we look internally, we recognise the investment we have put in to educating our staff to continue providing optimum services to our clients, and to motivate them through continuous learning, incentive travel, and the introduction of rigorous policies that ensure they are working for one of the most ethical companies on our islands. 2018 has also seen the promotion of three new branch managers and three assistant managers, which show that being a real estate consultant is not just a job, but an aspirational career choice.
There have been several moments that have made us, and the other directors, proud this year, however if we had to pick just one it would be the great feedback uncovered in the MISCO survey which was conducted for us last July. It gives us great satisfaction to learn that the general public has voted Frank Salt Real Estate for the strongest personality traits, listing them as our reputation, our wealth of knowledge and experience in property sales and letting, as well as the range of property types on offer. In fact, the company ranked first in 7 out of 10 brand personality traits. This kind of result is exactly what a company of our scale needs to be motivated to carry on aspiring to be the absolute leaders in our trade.
