SECRETARIES AT FRANK SALT REAL ESTATE GIVE COOKING A GO!
19/11/2009
A secretary’s role is normally that of sitting at her desk and carry out administrative and office duties but all this changed recently for the team of secretaries at Frank Salt Real Estate when they decided to give their culinary skills a test. As part of the company’s ongoing training programme, the group of 15 secretaries held a team building activity at Razzett il-Hbiberija where they received training as to how to improve their project coordination and team building skills through cooking and other culinary related exercises. The activity was also part of the company’s ongoing commitment towards social institutions, this time in aid of Inspire. Following the event, the secretaries and those present sat down together and enjoyed a succulent meal that they had cooked themselves.
“Our philosophy at Frank Salt Real Estate is very much geared towards ongoing training and personal development”, says HR Manager Sandra Aquilina. “We understand the value of such initiatives for career development and how this contributes heavily to the motivation level and productivity.” In fact, every member of our team, be it property consultants or administrative personnel, are regularly invited to attend training courses and seminars, that assists them at improving their skills and performing better. This time round, the management opted to think outside the box and came up with a team building event that included a good dose of fun.
Frank Salt Real Estate’ training programmes include a full induction and preparation course for its property consultants, as well as regular management training for senior and middle management. “It is with good reason that we boast of one the island’s best teams of property consultants” says Managing Director Joseph Lupi. “When it comes to real estate, the negotiator plays a crucial role. He must be dedicated, professional and trustworthy not only towards the company, but above all towards the customers that put their trust and property needs in his or her hands.”
The secretary’s culinary event also formed part of the activities being undertaken by the company to commemorate its 40 years anniversary.
